Joy is growing up fast, here's the latest on her progress.
Learning new things
Joy really enjoys her puppy classes and has now mastered all the basics and is brilliant at recall. She has extra tasty treats to motivate her, but she is more interested in cuddles and praise! One challenge she is facing is settling down when she is on the lead around other dogs, as she is so excited to play. She has been to lots of country parks with her guide dog puppy pal, Poppy, to help her learn to interact calmly. I’m sure she’ll get the hang of it with time and training!
Funny little quirks
Joy makes people laugh with her hilarious little habits. Sometimes when we are gardening on a nice day, Joy takes it upon herself to try and help. She likes to pull plants up, which is the opposite of helping, but it does make us laugh!
